We are a leading AI company with a strong internet foundation. We have been consistently investing in AI since 2010 to advance our technological capabilities, enhance our search functionality and boost overall monetization. The breadth and depth of our AI capabilities provide the differentiating foundational technologies that power all of our businesses.

We are one of the very few companies in the world that offers a full AI stack of four layers, including cloud infrastructure, in-house developed deep learning framework PaddlePaddle, self-developed ERNIE foundation models, and applications. We have put our leading AI capabilities into our products and services, as well as innovative use cases. Over the past two decades, we have built a diversified portfolio of products and services with large market opportunities. Our businesses span across an ecosystem of hundreds of millions of users, tens of millions of developers and hundreds of thousands of enterprises. 

Baidu is composed of two segments: 1) Baidu General Business, which accounted for over 70% of our revenue in the past three years, and 2) iQIYI, an online entertainment video service provider.

Baidu General Business mainly provides products and services in the following three key business areas:

  • Mobile Ecosystem: a portfolio of over one dozen apps, including Baidu App, ERNIE Bot, Haokan and Baidu Post, among others;
  • AI Cloud: including (i) AI Cloud Infrastructure, which comprises AI infrastructure and platform services serving enterprises and the public sector and (ii) AI Applications, which comprise AI-native or AI-powered product offerings addressing specific use cases for individuals and enterprises, such as our flagship software products, Baidu Wenku and Baidu Drive, and
  • Intelligent Driving & Other Growth Initiatives: consisting of intelligent driving, including Apollo Go autonomous ride-hailing services and DuerOS smart assistant.


Baidu has been listed on the NASDAQ National Market (later renamed the Nasdaq Global Market) since August 2005, and has been dual-listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (SEHK) since March 2021.
